Checking Submissions in Chatty Form
This guide explains how to access, review, and manage the responses and interactions collected through your chatbots.
Overview
Submissions represent all interactions that users have had with your published chatbots. Each submission contains the data collected during a user's conversation with your chatbot. This guide will help you understand how to effectively manage and utilize this collected data.
Accessing Submissions
Step 1: Navigate to Submissions
- Go to the "My Chat Bots" page from the dashboard
- Click on the chat bot whose submissions you want to view
- This takes you to the flow builder
- Within the flow builder, click on the "Submissions" link/tab in the navigation
Alternatively:
- While viewing your bot's flow in the flow builder
- Look for the "Submissions" link in the sidebar or top navigation
- Click to access the submissions page
Step 2: View Submission Overview
- You'll see a table listing all submissions for this bot
- Each row represents one completed conversation
- Columns include Submission ID and Submission Time
- Use the "Actions" column to view details or delete submissions
Understanding Submission Data
Submission Details
Each submission entry shows:
- Submission ID: A unique identifier for this specific interaction
- Submitted At: The date and time when the user completed the conversation
- Actions: Icons for viewing details or deleting the submission
Submission Information
When viewing a specific submission:
- A detailed breakdown of the entire conversation
- All responses provided by the user
- The path the user took through your chat flow
- Timestamps for each interaction
Viewing Individual Submissions
How to View Details
- Find the submission you want to review in the table
- Click the "eye" icon in the Actions column
- This opens the submission details page
- You can see the user's complete conversation journey
- All collected data is displayed in chronological order
What You'll See
- Complete conversation flow with user responses
- All data points collected during the interaction
- Timestamps showing when each response was submitted
- The final outcome or conclusion of the conversation
Managing Submissions
Deleting Submissions
If you need to remove a submission:
- Locate the submission in the table
- Click the "trash" icon in the Actions column
- A confirmation dialog will appear to prevent accidental deletion
- Confirm that you want to delete the submission
- The submission will be permanently removed
⚠️ Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to delete the data before confirming.
Bulk Management
Currently, the system supports individual submission deletion only. For bulk operations:
- Manually delete submissions one by one
- Consider exporting data if you need to archive before deletion

Pagination
- Submissions are displayed 10 per page
- Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate
- Numbers show current page and total pages
- Navigate using Previous/Next buttons or page number links
Page Navigation
- Jump to specific pages using numbered links
- Pages are listed with ellipses (...) when there are many pages
- Current page is highlighted
- First and last pages are always accessible

- Export data (if available) for deeper analysis
- Look for trends in user responses
- Identify common drop-off points in your flows
- Monitor the effectiveness of different conversation paths

The current version provides view and delete capabilities in the interface. For exporting:
- Check for export functionality which may be available as a CSV download
- Contact support if you need bulk export capabilities
- Consider taking screenshots for limited data archival
